Attorney with Army and Police Background

Kenneth grew up in the Houston area and joined the army when he was 17. He was assigned to 3 - 62 ADA in the 10th Mountain Division, located near Watertown, New York.

After his army service, Kenneth embarked on a career in law enforcement and was a Houston police officer for 13 years. He trained in the Central Patrol Division and later worked the city jails. After his time working the jail, he went to Northeast Patrol, and then Hit and Run. During his time in Hit and Run, Kenneth completed Northwestern University's Advanced Accident Investigators Course and the Reid Interview and Interrogations Course.

Later, Kenneth went to the Robbery Division, South Central Patrol, Northwest Patrol, and was merged with North Belt Patrol. It was during Kenneth's time as a police officer that his eyes were opened to the injustices in the world and solidified his commitment to helping make meaningful changes as a trial lawyer.

Kenneth V. Mitchell received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston - Downtown.

Now as an attorney native to Houston, he has established KVM Law Firm, PLLC. Attorney Mitchell has proven that his hard work has gotten him where he is today. He is proud to represent clients from Harris and Montgomery Counties, while applying the same dedication and effort to each defense case.
